At 95 years old, the Republic of Estonia has never before been more securely protected than today – we are a member of NATO and the European Union, relations with our allies are strong, and the state invests two per cent of gross domestic product into defence in order to guarantee our country’s primary defence capabilities. Estonia has more international authority now than ever before. This is an achievement our nation can be proud of.
This achievement has in large part been secured by our brave, well educated and internationally valued members of the defence forces with their dedication to their profession – the guaranteeing of security.
