Member of the Board of the Reform Party Hanno Pevkur serves as Minister of Justice since December 2012.
Before he assumed the office of the Minister of Social Affairs in the government formed by Andrus Ansip in February 2009 and continued in the position in the new government formed in 2011. 2003 to 2005 he was the elder of the Nõmme city district.
As for his education, Hanno is a lawyer – he graduated from the University of Tartu in 2002. He studied the same speciality at the Tallinn School of Economics, which he graduated from in 1998.
Hanno is married and has two children (a son and a daughter). During his free time he enjoys sports: his favourites are football, volleyball, skiing and golf.
