Ministry of the Environment
Keit Pentus-Rosimannus has been the Minister of the Environment since April 2011. Before that, from 2009 to 2011 she was the first Vice-President of the 11th Riigikogu. In the same composition of the Riigikogu Keit was also the Chairperson of the Reform Party faction. She has been a member of the Reform Party since 1998, also leading the party as Vice-Chairperson.
From 2007 to 2011 Keit was a member of the supervisory board of Riigi Kinnisvara AS. She has also worked as the head of the Prime Minister’s Office, the elder of Tallinn City Centre and the adviser to the minister in both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice.
Keit is also a member of the supervisory board of the Educational and Conference Centre of Christian Culture and Ethical Values of Tallinn Dome Church and a member of the supervisory board of the Support Union of Grandparents.
Keit obtained her Master’s degree in public administration and European Union relations at Tallinn Pedagogical University.
In her free time she is interested in music, sports, theatre and reading.
Keit Pentus-Rosimannus is married.
