Résumé

Siim Kiisler, a member of the Pro Patria and Res Publica Union, has been the Minister for Regional Affairs since January 2008. Previously, Siim has been the elder of the city district of Central Tallinn and the head of the Res Publica faction in the Riigikogu.

In terms of education Kiisler is a system engineer: he graduated from Tallinn University of Technology in 1991. He has worked as an entrepreneur and as a business consultant in various areas.

Siim has five children. In his leisure time he likes to go orienteering and encourages his sons to practise sports.

He also participates in the activities of the Fraternitas Liviensis Fraternity.
