Stenbock House, 22 November 2013 – Prime Minister Andrus Ansip expressed his condolences to Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis in connection with an accident that took place in a shopping centre yesterday.

“My condolences to all relatives of the peopled killed in the accident. This sad event affects personally – as if the closest friend’s family has been hit by a tragic loss. These are painful moments,” the Prime Minister said in the telephone conversation with his Latvian colleague.

Prime Minister Andrus Ansip confirmed to the Prime Minister of Latvia, who was leaving the accident scene to attend an extraordinary session of the Government, that Estonia is ready to offer any assistance if the Latvian Government should need it.
