Tallinn, Stenbock House, 29 September 2017 – Last night’s dinner of European leaders gave a good push to today’s digital summit. I felt the support of colleagues and their interest towards the digital field, but also a strong desire to maintain unity in Europe,” Ratas noted and added that the gathering took place in an open and trusting atmosphere.

The dinner that took place in Kadriorg Palace was hosted by President of the European Council Donald Tusk and was attended by 26 Heads of State and Government of the European Union, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani.

The development of technology will be illustrated by the exhibition area set up in the garden of Tallinn Creative Hub for the length of the digital summit, where a selection of the crowning achievements of European research and development work can be seen – all connected to the themes and areas of life addressed during the summit. If the exhibition is only open for the heads of the European Union on Friday, then on Saturday from 11–17, the technology exhibition will be open to all who are interested.
