Winter begins with Stenbock Outdoor Music

Tallinn, Stenbock House22 December 2003 The State Chancellery and the Estonian State Concert Institute invite everyone to the Tallinn Boys´ Choir concert today at 6 o´clock p.m. at Tallinn´s best open-air venue: the courtyard of Stenbock House (Rahukohtu 3). The concert is free and open to all those interested.The boys´ choir, conducted by Lydia and Tomi Rahula, will give a half-hour concert of Christmas songs in the courtyard of Stenbock House. The internationally acclaimed Tallinn Boys´ Choir has performed in almost every Estonian town, on the banks of the Mississippi, on Tokyo Television and by the Gröningen Canal. The choir has been warmly welcomed and has received positive media coverage everywhere; the audiences have always wished to see them again.The tradition of outdoor concerts at Stenbock House dates back to the summer of 2001. Over three years, concerts have been given by the Tallinn Philharmonic Society conducted by Eri Klas, the Sax Quatuor saxophone quartet, Rein Rannap, Hortus Musicus, Sergio Bastos & the Raivo Tafenau Quintet, the Estonian National Male Choir and others.
