Prime Minister Michal will meet with Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, on Friday

Stenbock House, 14 May 2026 – On Friday, 15 May, Prime Minister Kristen Michal will host Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, at Stenbock House, who is in Estonia on a bilateral visit. The meeting will be followed by press statements.

The meeting will cover bilateral cooperation, EU integration, preparations for the NATO Ankara Summit, and the broader international situation. Among other things, Albania will host the NATO Summit in 2027.

The meeting will begin on 15 May at 10.30 a.m. at Stenbock House. Media representatives will have the opportunity to cover the arrival and the opening moments of the meeting of the delegations.

The prime ministers will also take part in the opening panel of the Lennart Meri Conference, entitled “A Bridge Over Troubled Water: The Next Chapter of Transatlantic Cooperation”. Thomas DiNanno, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, Boris Ruge, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, and Jana Puglierin, Senior Policy Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, will also take part in the discussion, which will start at 5 p.m. on Friday. The panel will be moderated by Teri Schulz, freelance EU and NATO correspondent at Deutsche Welle.
