Siim Kallas

Siim Kallas was born in October 2, 1948 in Tallinn. He was married and had a son Ülo and daughter Kaja. Kallas formed the Reform Party in 1994 and served as the Prime Minister for the 42nd Estonian Government.

Education

Siim Kallas graduated in 1972 from University of Tartu in finance and credit cum laude.

Orders of Merit

In 2003 Siim Kallas was awarded the Order of the National Coat of Arms, 2nd Class, for services rendered to Estonia, and in 2015, the Order of the National Coat of Arms, 1st Class.

In 2001, Siim Kallas received France's highest honour, the Order of the Legion of Honour (4th Class, or Grand Officer).

In 2000, Kallas was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, and in 2019, the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland, 3rd Class (Commander's Cross).
